R&A CPAs is a vibrant company committed to providing challenging and rewarding employment in an educational and professional environment. We are extremely proud to be the winners of the 2006 Wells Fargo Copper Cactus “Best Place to Work” award for companies between 31 and 75 employees. We are looking for team members that have a passion for accounting and client service who are eager to learn and help their team members. We hire and train for the long term. The average employment length of our staff is over six years and ranges from a few months to over 20 years. Combination of character and technical skill has made us who we are today.
The culture at R&A CPAs (the “Firm”) does not fit the stereotypical culture of accounting firms, which is overly formal and stuffy. There are two familiar quotes from R&A’s Senior Partner, Don Radakovich CPA that help describe the culture and work environment at R&A.

Although our profession can be demanding, regimented and highly technical in nature, we do our best to keep it all in perspective. R&A strives to keep things light and fun, and we actually have a Fun Committee that is in charge of organizing activities that promote camaraderie and team building.

    Internship:
         R&A is looking for hardworking and enthusiastic accounting degree candidates
         who have completed at a minimum their junior year accounting curriculum and who
         are interested in pursuing a career in public accounting with a rapidly growing local
         public accounting firm. As a Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity
         to work alongside dedicated professionals in all service areas of public
         accounting, including assurance, tax and consulting. You will also get a taste of
         what life is like at R&A while building valuable relationships that will benefit you in
         the future. We encourage you to explore this challenging, yet rewarding opportunity
         to apply what you have learned in school to the real world!

Qualified candidates must possess an overall GPA of 3.0 and have a committed work ethic and strong desire to excel in an auditing, tax or consulting career. The Summer Intern Program runs from June through August and can extend through December with the potential for full-time employment after graduation. Hours vary between 24 and 40 hours depending upon candidate’s interests and availability.
This is a paid internship position.
